Turnseed is designed to keep caregiver-led play private, from birth through 23 months.

App data and parent access

Turnseed requires no account, child name, exact birthday, camera, microphone recording, location, contacts, advertising identifier, or analytics profile. On iPhone and iPad, a broad age band, preferences, saved activities, and up to 200 local attempts remain in protected app storage excluded from cloud backup. An older local snapshot may be retained after an upgrade so a caregiver can export or delete it.

A parent PIN protects settings, history, export, deletion, and support feedback. The PIN verifier and authentication settings remain in app-scoped Keychain storage and are never included in an export or support message. Face ID or Touch ID is an optional, explicit choice on a personal caregiver device; the PIN remains available as a fallback.

Offline use

The 36 original infant activities and six Apple TV room sessions work offline. Optional spoken guidance uses Apple's operating-system speech synthesizer. No family text or audio is sent to Turnseed or an AI service. A caregiver controls each next step.

Apple TV stores only its local age band and spoken-guidance preference. Session progress lasts only while the session is open. There are no stories, pairing, accounts, support feedback, exports, or external links in the TV app.

Export and deletion

A caregiver can prepare a temporary JSON export using the system share sheet or delete all local family data, including any preserved older snapshot, from the protected privacy controls on iPhone and iPad. Turnseed never sends the export anywhere. A shared export is handled by the destination app or service you select.

Optional in-app support feedback

Opening or drafting feedback sends nothing. After reviewing the exact fields, a caregiver can explicitly send a message and optional app version, build, operating-system version, and locale. App context is off by default. Feedback is submitted anonymously; the form has no name, account, or reply-email field. Family settings, saved activities, history, exports, authentication data, screenshots, and audio are never attached.

Reports are used only for support and troubleshooting and are retained for no more than 30 days. They are not used for advertising or tracking, sold, or shared for other purposes. Cloudflare processes the request to host the app's isolated support service. Short-lived, non-reversible rate-limit counters help prevent abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored by Turnseed's feedback receiver.

Support email

If you contact support, I receive your email address and any information you include in your message. I use that information only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue you reported.

Third parties

Turnseed does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, purchases, subscriptions, third-party SDKs, pairing, or a local-network feature.
